Our idea for Tent of Meeting is providing a space where like-minded migrant ministries in Australia work together to share their stories and the needs of migrants and refugees through collective marketing.
We are seeking opportunities to host the Tent of Meeting team at your event’s – whether that be an interdenominational conference or a local Church Mission event. We would like this to be an opportunity to raise awareness for migrant ministries and to engage migrants in mission events such as your own.
“Now Moses used to take a tent and pitch it outside the camp some distance away, calling it the ‘tent of meeting’. Anyone inquiring of the Lord would go to the tent of meeting outside the camp.” – Exodus 33:7
The Book of Exodus details how hundreds of thousands of Israelites, led by Moses, fled Egypt. Tent of Meeting was a portable earthly dwelling place of Yahweh until the promised land was conquered. The phrase ‘tent of meeting’ is used in the Old Testament to describe a place where God would meet with His people.
